evolve challenge about us
The Challenge
The Evolve Challenge is a 3-day outdoor adventure challenge for high school students from across Canada. The program will be held on the weekend of September 30th to October 2nd , 2011 at Camp Walden, located near Bancroft, Ontario. The event will feature an adventure race comprised of mountain biking, navigating, paddling and other components.
Is this program right for my students?

The weekend will feature a full day of workshops, including instruction by professional adventure racers and outdoor leaders. These sessions will build the confidence necessary to enjoy the race.

The Evolve Challenge is aimed at engaging students with an array of athletic skills, talents and abilities and will challenge students to harness their team working skills, individual and collective strength and their eco awareness. We will also include a focus on the global water crisis specifically.

Participants do not have to be accomplished adventure racers. A willingness to learn and some athletic ability is all you need to participate.
